I have continued making pizza once a week this year and I am so proud of tonight’s batch!

I made gravlax and sourdough bagels for brunch yesterday.

I can’t describe how baking seriously this year has brought joy in my life, through all the horrible news I read daily. This weekend, I made my very first sourdough (a sweet one with white chocolate and almonds) and it turned out amazing!

Last weekend, I tried the new Moroccan afternoon tea my sister offers at her café: Atay Royal. It was so delicious and traditional, including the mint tea.

It’s offered every Sunday at MaisonMajorelle.ca in Rosemere.

I also bake. A lot!

I tried Maison Inja last night and it was such a delicious meal. I had a Persian rose tea and this amazing rice dish with chicken and eggplant. This definitely makes me want to try their café next door! #montreal

I finally had the chance to visit Koujina yesterday — a Tunisian café. We had delicious mint tea, specialty coffees and sfenj (donut). My mom was in heaven hearing their beautiful Arabic playlist to the point that she got up and danced while the staff cheered for her ✨— Koujina, 430 St-Zotique. #mtl
