if she's on one singular drive, partitioning it in any way would destroy whatever's on it if it's using the whole space. doesn't seem like an option. .w."

Just be certain everything you want to keep is NOT on the drive/partition you'll be putting Linux onto.

If you're on the same drive, it would wipe everything, like installing any new OS - but if you have all your stuff on a secondary/external drive, then you'll be fine. Just be sure you don't miss anything on the main before you wipe it.

Just be wary, if you use an NVIDIA GPU, the drivers seem to not be as good from official sources as they are on Windows, but they are there. I'm not sure of how much of a difference it is, as I've got an AMD card, but I wanted to give the heads-up. It may balance out with everything else tbh.

If you're unsure, set up the USB installer and just try either without installing yet. You only commit to it once you hit the installer.

Not out yet, I think.

Bazzite's good, feels like a console. If you want something General-Purpose, use Mint, it feels like Windows without the bloat. Once you open Steam in most distros though, you should be good to go after turning Proton on in Steam's Settings.

New year, new me!

Chloe's design hasn't really been updated since 2020... So I figured I'd just shift some time over a bit. It's been over half a decade for me, I'm giving that to her too! A lot's changed in that time, y'know?
