Couldn't agree more; the doodle scourge skewed people's perceptions so much towards "trendy" breeds being equivalent to rare, because "cuteness for the gram" is everything.

Working dogs and "ugly" breed critters are just as cool to discover and learn about!

Can relate from the dog side, owning a rare breed that's only decades old, yet people think their mixed rescue/mill is also an Eurasier.

The lack of knowledge on the entire organization and care for the breed can be exasperating; it can be obvious people just want the prestige without the effort.

Pricey, but worth it in my opinion. Had ours for a year and it feels like my drip coffee maker endgame.

And also very simple - no stupid screens or AI. Flip switch, receive coffee.

Thank god I only use our Assistants/Homes to turn on and off the lights, or tell me the time.

It's the butter robot from Rick & Morty, I've only ever trusted it with the most simple tasks.

We shelled out the cash for a Moccamaster, and I'm glad we did. Best damn drip coffee I've ever had by miles, and it's fully repairable if a part wears out on us.
