My ex boss told me to take away the puzzles and puzzle table that the team enjoyed because “it didn’t look professional” and he didn’t want us “accused of not working.” We all left a month later.

I didn’t know that when I bought a little toy at a Dollar Store about a year ago that I was unwittingly going to be part of the Squishmallow sub-culture.

Trying to get this past week behind me. Trying to spend this precious weekend well. Spent time putting together little Valentine’s Day gift bags.

A bittersweet puzzle. Two team members left the day after they finished this puzzle together. We were a great team and worked magic together. Laughing together made a tough year bearable. But a company can kill people’s morale with bad decisions and that is what happened.

This was a pretty puzzle. Mostly finished by one co-worker. The pieces were solid and shiny. Pretty good quality.
