2025 03 10 Steve's Monday Adventures - Letters From a Birmingham Jail

Even though Lent is seen as a time to slow down, I'm getting ramped up. Now is not the time for me to slow down. Because of the suffering slapping us in the face every single day, the path of Jesus in these 40 days seems to be “It's better to burn out than fade away” (Neil Young and Crazy Horse).

2025 02 28 Steve’s Friday Sojournings on Faith: Death

It may seem like death (winter) had the final say, but nature teaches us otherwise. Thich Nhat Hanh spoke about death (see link). May we view all deaths as transformations, half-smile, and sing.

2025 02 14, Steve's Friday Sojournings focus on our journey of Faith. Jake Owensby, an Episcopal priest, shines a light on the Truth-Telling that got Jeremiah in trouble as he addressed the idols of the day - sounds eerily familiar.

Trump's CFPB, now under the command of billionaire hedge fund manager Scott Bessent, has halted the Biden admin's rule to ban medical bills from credit reports.

It's been estimated that the rule would help improve the credit scores of 15 million people.
