I'm gonna try it when I have the time if only to see the new players and format.

Felt similarly about C3 and I'm thinking that this new style won't really be for me but I do kinda miss being a critter.

Originally I planned to quilt the cable knit she has at the bottom but since it's wool, I'm going to try needle felting instead so it has the same fuzzyness

Literally no part of Alma is 100% done it's all in wip status 😅

I started on her under jacket which I'm turning into a hooded vest for temperature control. The front visible portions are a delicious wool while the back is a cheap cotton flannel.

I also managed to cut out basically all of her romper pieces. I took extra care to add some additional seam allowances to account for the chunky weave
The texture is gonna be so tasty when I get it to a wearable state

Alma is in a bit of a weird state as I bounce between stuff to minimize change my needle types and thread so often.
I started her knee brace with is seude lined with interfaced cotton canvas
The final product will def need to snap to my leggings but that isn't a huge deal

Haven't been able to paint the sword just yet but I did do a test of the outfit

Let this be a lesson in how a test check with the homies is a great tool. I decreased the length I topstitched down the pleats and took in the top a smidge. You can see more of my body shape instead of funky box
