Clearly it was the teenager's fault. If only she had been wearing a reflective vest, the asshole driver wouldn't have ploughed through the intersection like that. 😐

Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

New painting! Oil on panel, 40 x 50cm. Will be added to my website (see bio). #oilpainting #landscape #mountains #wicklowmountains #soggy #Ireland
Mountain landscape in oils: outline of receding ridge lines, with waterlogged, grassy hills and cascading water. A more detailed depiction of rocks, vegetation and water in the foreground, reducing to just outlines beyond, and a simple sky in just 2 colours (buff and light grey-blue). Palette limited and dominated by ochre, raw umber and more of the grey-blue used for the sky.

This would be that same #DougFord government obsessed with ripping out both speed cameras AND #BikeLanes. It's a city with kids in it, not a racetrack or drag strip. Maybe keep this in mind, Calgary #onpoli #yyccc #yycbike #yyc globalnews.ca/news/1146373...

“We found significant contamination,” Stolz said. “Essentially half of the people in our study had bad water.” Two of the wells registered “explosive levels of methane,” he said. “The homeowners had no clue it was that bad.”

THE GUARDIAN: On closer inspection, however, it turned out that the image was not a photograph of a real event in Portland, but instead a fabrication created by combining two photographs of scenes that unfolded in South America nearly a decade apart. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Some big bombshells in our new episode with Dr Paul Parks!

Including that Danielle Smith was warned by many experts her healthcare "refocusing" would only make healthcare in Alberta much, much worse!

My latest….The new Imperial Oil is a collection of operating plants run out of “global business centres.” That is, not run from Canada by Canadians. It’s the clearest sign yet that Canada’s oil story is drawing to a close. Our leaders still haven't noticed. www.nationalobserver.com/2025/10/03/a...

I’ve seen a lot of rallies at the Alberta Legislature, but today’s Teachers’ rally had to be the biggest one.

#ForeverCanadian volunteers were there, collecting signatures.

Teachers, thank you for your support!!!
