So it seems that Trump's new battleship idea involves using railguns that the US Navy abandoned in 2022 due to power requirements and the barrels wearing out after a few shots meaning that after about 30 minutes of combat the ship will need to leave the fleet and return to port for replacements.

So as 300 years ago the US was still a British colony, effectively Trump is arguing that Britain has a claim to Greenland, not the US.
