Learned something new about my cat Golden today. He is scared of geese flying overhead. I was sitting with him outside and I heard geese honking. Golder immediately headed for cover under some bushes. A little later some more flew over and he crawled under my shed to protect himself. 🙀 #Orangecat

Reason #1140523 why I have little hope in humanity. Walking to my mother's house a few blocks away, minding my own business. A 10-12 year old comes across the street swearing, insulting me and calling me a thief. Why was I a thief? Because he had seen me carrying a chair earlier in the day. WTF?

That was a couple years ago. Golden become a house cat only going out a little while each day and sleeping on my family member much of the other time, probably getting much to used to having someone else there 24/7. When they passed, I took him in. #orangecat

I honestly didn't think that there would be so many bots/human bots. Fortunately, when you know what to look for they are easy to spot and block or mute.

After capturing Golden again, he didn't seem so eager to escape. I continued to put out food for his sibling, but a racoon found it and ate it despite my best efforts. Then one day the sibling vanished. I never found out what happened, but all the other strays slowly vanished to. #organgecat
