Founder @Soldera | Building infrastructure for RECs and GOs
This team left financial markets for Guarantees of Origin (GOs).

Faraday are quietly becoming a household name in the GO space.

They don’t simply "take a view" either way in the market.

In a world full of back-to-back traders, they're seeking to 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 the market. 🧵...

Immediately when they sense it, ALL founders/CEOs should call churning customers.

You’ve skipped feedback forms before, right?

So do they.

Your product’s no different. If you don’t make it human, there’s no point.

In the past, managers set the pace.

But now, with an abundance of AI tools, that model is redundant. The future belongs to those who can figure out how to move in the right direction, alone.

The best know how to use AI to adapt fast. The average still think it’s for drafting emails.

Top talent always have side projects.

🚩 If a technical candidate doesn’t, it’s a red flag. Simply put - why 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙣'𝙩 you do what you love in your free time?

Discoveries made here are often adopted in company processes.

Just make sure all the important work gets done.

At Soldera, we're preparing for hourly guarantee of origin markets...

But how will governments deploy them, and how will markets react? 🤔

Poland’s renewable energy producers are stuck in limbo...

...waiting for AIB membership and hub connection.

For years, the invitation’s been there.

But the guarantees of origin? They’re piling up, and losing value.

Don't let your registry account become a GO graveyard.

(Yes, we’ve seen it. Too many times.)

In Africa, many companies are still forced to rely on diesel gensets, exposing them to oil price shocks and currency risk.

Switching to solar offers better margins thanks to more predictable operations.

Thanks Tony Tiyou from Renewables in Africa (RiA) for the sharp insights!

Let's not forget: Guarantees of Origin (GOs) have one primary role in the renewable Energy Directive (RED), and that's energy tracking.

Additional revenue streams aren't formally recognized— but are acknowledged in other regulations.

Great insights from Mary Polovtseva of Veyt!

Thanks for all the love on the fundraise announcement.

It’s been fun seeing it fly around.

As a little thank you...

We’re dropping the album next 🚀

Let’s be honest, the current GO system is a bit crude, and more granularity would help.

The question is still whether registries are ready — we suspect not.

What do you learn from reading ~100 CSRD compliance reports?

Mary did just that, and one thing is clear. The new CSRD rules are enforcing dual reporting for Scope 2 emissions.

This is great news for corporate sustainability. No more cherry-picking the best numbers!

Africa is set to be a solar powerhouse.

So manufacturing solar panels within the continent seems like the obvious move, and many governments are pushing for exactly that.

But as Tony Tiyou of Renewables in Africa (RiA) explains, it comes down to raw materials.
