Cave of seals enemies are so annoying. Those spriggan type enemies using chance that can put your mp at 0, like fuck off

It took me a while to remember the Sky Tower and the Zenithian Palace was in DQ4 but I still can't remember the lore behind it. I think the most I can remember in DQ4 is monster evolution and the demon lord (Esturk?) and the sympathetic bad guy whats his name but that's about it....

I wasn't hallucinating, the encounter rate at the top floor where you have to drop the boulders is higher and the floor where you have to push said boulders is very low

Also the npcs are hilarious. The armor lady in Flora's town who always mistakes us for her husband, the sailor in Port Selmi wondering why his wife does not seem to mind the long separation and the wife on the bed hinting she's in an affair

I love how this game gives lots of hints on where to go next, just talking to npcs and they give a maybe do this wink wink nudge

Bianca is so pushed as the canon wife its not even funny. Like Flora has a backup husband in Andre or whatever his name was, Flora isn't even required to talk to to progress the marriage plot (its her father) and everyone is happy if you marry her whereas you disappoint Bianca's father if not

I even went back to the original jp rom and she still won't open. What triggered it is going through the equipment menu (or maybe the menu in general and going back out)
