Once again within the space of a few months more items attributed to Ethiopian war hero Ras Desta Damtew are up for auction. The fascist loot of Ethiopia is a war crime that never received justice, and now people are attempting to profit from it. It must not be allowed.
Is the auction of Ras Desta's ceremonial cape going ahead? His medal in Switzerland and now his beautiful embroidered lemd to be sold by Capitolium Art in Brescia Italy. Is Italy going to let this go ahead? Is the world going to simply watch? Will collectors bid for potentially stolen goods?
