State Bar of California rules for attorneys: a member shall not threaten to oresent criminal charges to obtain an advantage in a civil action.

18 USC 115 makes it a federal crime to threaten a judge.

Thus was my takeaway as well. Hoping the author is right that we will find a way forward.

The statements made by these judges are heroic. I’m glad someone other than the bishop is calling out the injustice of the current administration which is trying to erase the shameful events of that day and embolden these criminals

I know her too. In 2016 she told me Trump was last on her list of Republicans she wanted to see as president. But she’s very smart and disgustingly ambitious in an Elise Stefanik kind of way. She will do or say anything to get in the spotlight.
