I think it's interesting to see Utley and King Felix with similar vote totals. I feel like the perceptions/hall of fame cases of these players are alike (though personally I feel Utley's case is stronger).

Prime 4. got it for Christmas. Absolutely gorgeous. Not "perfect" but still very much a Metroid prime game.

Game #32 (12/30): Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This one is special, and many other years would be my goty. The entire game is going to stick with me for a while. It's not perfect (late game pacing issues), but what's there is excellent. It's worth all the accolades.

Game #31 (12/20): Bombastic. The PS2 sequel to Devil Dice. While this one lacks the puzzle mode of the original, it has a "story" mode to make up for it, and the co-op "trial" mode is some of the most fun I've had in a long while.

Game #30 (11/25): Devil Dice. Clever puzzle game for the ps1. Great in bite sized chunks, but also able to lose hours to it.

Game #29 (11/11): Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. Ninja Gaiden has a reputation for being difficult. This one doesn't quite challenge as much as the originals, but it remained a satisfying play throughout. Worth playing for any action platformer fans.

Game #28 (11/8): Parapa the Rapper. This one fared better in my memory before revisiting. Excellent soundtrack and vibe. God awful timing ruined parts of the game. I breezed through the sequel. The original tested my patience. Still respect it for all the originality it brought to the table.

Game #27 (11/5): Penny's Big Breakaway. There are moments this game is brilliant. When you hit that "flow" state, it feels so good to play. But occasional control issues pull you out of it, bringing that flow state to a stuttering halt. Fantastic or frustrating, rarely anything in between.
