You think I'll keep this thing alive

Been saying this for years. I grew up surrounded by media that mocked the Nazis and the extreme right as fools, idiots, and pompous prigs. In recent years, there's been a movement towards "Oh, they did such awful things, we should take them seriously." No. Do NOT treat them as serious people.

Going to use my day off to try to finish the (rhyming...) short story I've been working on.

Agonising over what to post on social media (something witty? something profound? a smart observation?) is always a great way to ensure my mind will suddenly go completely blank.
