Me (in red vest) at the end of the Shelton Striders 10K yesterday. A brilliant event. Chip timed, really good T-shirt, fast flat course. Did my fastest 10K for a few years. 47.56. Happy with that. And fast enough for a club MV50 bronze standard.

The last few days. Parkrun at gorgeous Wollaton Hall, football at Chesterfield vs Crawley and the brilliant news that Connor Chaplin has signed for Pompey on loan for the rest of the season.

No Walk In The Park 5K on Saturday was my first race as a 50 year old. I managed to get a club bronze standard for my time of 23.47 for Clowne Road Runners.
Excellent event put on by North Derbyshire Running Club (my second claim club).
