Barring picking up some bug on the flight back last weekend, loved #SriLanka.

Everyone said to skip Colombo but I was pleasantly surprised.

Well overdue creating some #travelblogs off the back of this trip…

The moment of staring at Notre Dame’s façade and asking the big questions…

Is that pitchfork doing what I think it is ✅
Is that a vomiting man being speared by a devil ✅

More reasons to love Puglia ⬇️⬇️😋😋
Ahah! Grazie. Puglia is considered to be Italy’s 2nd most visited foodie destination by region. We produce most of Italy’s olive oil (almost 40%), 2nd top regional wine producer and we gave the world burrata cheese!

Orecchiette often get overlooked, as does Apulian cuisine more generally.

Big mistake - they’re absolutely delicious and I thought Puglia had some of the beet cuisine anywhere I’ve been in Italy! 🇮🇹
Puglia’s iconic orecchiette (“little ears”) pasta is at the heart of our culinary tradition, from the classic pairing with cime di rapa to inventive creations. The name – “little ears” – probably dates to the Angevin rulers of the 12th–14th centuries.

Lofoten is - for my money - the most beautiful place on Earth. But with the ratio of visitors to locals reaching 40:1 in summer, how can you stop it becoming an Arctic Disneyworld.

My article for BBC Travel published last weekend.

Are 'the world's most beautiful islands' in danger?
Norway's stunning Lofoten Islands have gone viral for their midnight summer sun. But as the isles face overtourism for the first time, residents have an important message for visitors.
