He's a very stupid person. He's also a disgusting person who doesn't brush his teeth, has mold growing in his house, and had dead rat carcasses around his house. I'm making none of this up.

I think you are a very underrated writer and I wrote a big post about it. You do good work!

That is what Sir Pentious says in the episode "I don’t know if it was fear or apathy, but" whether or not he actually was is another debate. I tend to lean more towards fear.

I am very excited to see how she answers this question and I think she did incredibly well at breaking down this philosophy for the viewers. I'm not really in the fandom as it were so I'm not sure how this post will go over but those are my thoughts! Maybe I'll write more later.

Pentious ends up in heaven due to sacrificing himself for his friends. It proves the idea of the Hazbin works. He fixed his sin. Now we must see whether the people who are in heaven deserve their place. Heaven so far does not seem to universally agree with the idea of Pen being there.

She leaves it for the viewer to debate. This will become a question debated in the fandom for the rest of time and it should be! It gets Hazbins younger fans interested in philosophy.

The second question I suspect will be shown over the course of the season.

@vivziepop.bsky.social asks of the viewer does Sir Pentious actually deserve hell for what he did? In this case what he did was not report a murder even after he knew who did it because he was afraid and apathetic. I also very much appreciate that she doesn't answer this in the episode or here.

2. Do the people in paradise really deserve the position they have? (This can be broken down to are the religious actually as righteous as they claim to be?)

This week's episode showed the first question with Sir Pentious. We saw his backstory.

The basic questions of Hazbin are 2fold and asked by philosophers for centuries

1. Can sinners be redeemed after eternal punishment? Is it eternal or can they change? (This can be broken down further to a real world example of do sinners really deserve the hatred they get from the religious.

Why is AEW selling merch of the group that wants to destroy it from within? At least WCW gave us the kayfabe thing of saying nWo was bankrolled by other people lol
