As someone who listens to podcasts while driving, cooking or cleaning, he’s not describing podcasts.

I know that feeling - I once spent a weekend building a LittleBigPlanet level for a Sony (media) pitch.
In front of the TV, 2am on Saturday night, DualShock controller in hand, “for work”…

(Building the level was easy. Getting a video of it to put in a PowerPoint slide = massive pain in the arse…)

I've written two articles about my task management tool. The first one focused on why it's important that we can build our own tools with ease, and not be subject to some growth hacking/user maxxing dweeb whose interests are not aligned with our own: www.techdirt.com/2025/06/03/s...

Came to say this.

My dreams are a fascinating, psychedelic, detailed exploration of ideas and sensations, like a Salvador Dali painting.

Well, that’s frustrating - if I was as familiar with your face as I am with your voice, I would have said hello.
(And probably embarrassed myself with a gushing speech about your book/Rule of Three/Screenwipe etc. etc. - so maybe it’s for the best…)

I remember being astonished at a young age (paper round-ish) to discover that our corner shop got their newspapers from WHSmith. (Like… shops buy things from other shops? Like discovering that the local greengrocer get all their veg from Tesco…)

JD Vance quoted from the Godfather at the National Catholic Prayer breakfast yesterday morning. I wonder if the film was on his mind all day.
