We’re not making any new purchases this year, but I must admit that I prefer Home Depot’s designs to Lowe’s this year. I think I may like them better than Spirit’s as well. That unusual.

I’ve never been so happy to have a critter eating one of my plants! This guy and a friend are munching their way through one of my milkweeds, and I couldn’t be happier. 🐛

My milkweed had a midday visitor. Missing a wing tip, but still very active. I hope it’s a female laying eggs, but I’m very new at this and can’t tell yet.

I remember little cats like these filled with Nerd-like candy (not actual Nerds though). If I recall correctly, they made a satisfying little pop noise, when they were new, while you removed the head to get at the candy. That might be memory playing tricks on me, but I’ll take it. Delightful!
