This weekend I found an app for iOS called iSH. It allowed me to install a virtualized Alpine Linux environment onto my iPad. Using the command line I was able to install Python3.9, Git, and some other tools. These are hard to get directly through the iOS App Store, some apps cost $25 for an IDE!
