As an American and as a mother, I am devastated by the murder of Renee Nichole Good. From NY to Minneapolis, none of us is safe from the brutality of ICE. Our communities deserve safety, peace, and freedom from state-sanctioned violence and we will not stop fighting until we have it. Abolish ICE.

Just a reminder that ALL members of the military and the Secret Service PLEDGE LOYALTY TO THE CONSTITUTION, not a person, to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic".

There is video of the shooting of a woman by ICE in Minneapolis circulating that shows an ICE agent repeatedly shooting her at point blank range while she tries to drive off. There was no obvious threat to any ICE agent.

A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.

AOC: This has now become what we feared most about ICE for a long time—that it would be used as an anti-civilian force with no accountability. At the end of the day, what we saw today was a murder, and murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted.
