Why is it so hard to make friends as an adult? Oh, wait—I’ve had trouble making friends since grade 7. Maybe it’s just me. Even Trump can make friends and he’s a raging, fucking lunatic.

Listening to the kids bicker; me to 5 yr old: “It’s time to get ready for bed.” 5 yr old: “Not now. I’m too busy fighting with my brother.”

I took some time for myself on the long wknd. I’m always so busy cleaning/working/organizing or doing stuff for the kids. But on Monday I decided to slow down. I played with the kids and took a cat nap and even started learning crochet. I needed a day to be a human being, not a human doing.

Kid and I watched The Wild Robot tonight. I can’t remember the last time I watched a movie that made me laugh and then cry so much. I’m wrecked!
