But they’re still awesome. 🙂

Arsenal are very much the most Falcons Premier League team ever except they’re actually good year-in and year-out, but like the Falcons they also blow things at the end of the season.

Yeah. What do you make of the coaching staff from a broad viewpoint?
March 13, 2025 at 10:45 PM
So I’m not trying to set expectations for this coaching staff and front office for this season because I don’t really know what to make of them.

aspects of his job? Yeah. But I think this is a make-or-break season for his staff. In terms of Raheem…I don’t really know what to make of him or his staff. There were moments last season where I think they were doing well, and others where I think they made mistakes that they could’ve avoided.

I know Fontenot has a kinda mixed reputation among fans, but I think he’s a better GM than his detractors claim he is, and not as good a GM as his fans claim he is. To me, he’s a slightly below average-ish GM. He has had some good signings and draft picks, and some misses. Could he improve in all

Fair enough. Tbh though I think the issue in that situation wasn’t trading him away but the whole Watson thing. If they’d traded Matt without getting involved with Watson, I think it would’ve been fine.

I think once you stop having expectations for the Falcons it makes things a lot easier with the things they do. It’s worked wonders for me.
March 11, 2025 at 5:28 PM
Yay! They’re not…dead? in free agency? 😂
Tbh though my approach with the Falcons is what Zendaya said in Spider-Man 3 (the second one): if you don’t have expectations you won’t be disappointed.

“Eh, we’re good enough so we’ll just try to coach up the guys we have instead of going out & getting a few new players to get better.”

So basically what I mean to ask is do you think they’re more likely to look at bigger guys like say, Nic Scourton, or smaller guys like say, Mike Green?

What kind of edge rushers do you think the Falcons are likely to target if/when they start to rebuild their defensive line?

I say if because they’re the Falcons and I think it’s never out of the realm of possibility for them to just say

suggestion laid out by Commissioner Silver of having 10 minute quarters for 40-minute games. I think he presented the case for it really well. He continues to show that he’s one of if not the best commissioner in the big four professional leagues.

WNBA. I think that kind of physicality is realistically feasible in the NBA without seeming like it’s coming out of nowhere, and it would improve the quality of the game, as well as bring defensive play as a key component of the game back to some extent. That being said, I also do like the

I really enjoyed the full interview. To me though, one improvement I would like to see is a return of some more physicality to the game. Not like to where it was with the Bad Boy Pistons or anything like that, but modeled more off of the level of physicality in the Olympics and that exists in the

I'm rooting for the meteor.

I don’t actually hate the Jeff Ulbrich DC hire for the Falcons. It just felt underwhelming to me considering some of the candidates they interviewed such as Steve Wilks, Wink Martindale, & Lou Anarumo, yet they went with the coach who they had familiarity with over bringing in someone new.
January 26, 2025 at 11:00 PM
I’m not sure that’s the best thing. 😭
That’s like saying “Congratulations! You’re now the least worst OC in the division.”

I’ve heard he’s a really talented, toolsy sort of player who needs to develop more, but I like what I’ve heard about him so far for sure.

I generally prefer edge rushers who win with power and who can help compress the pocket for the QB. Because to me, power is more easy to translate to the pros than speed. I haven’t looked at this class enough yet to see which ones are more power rushers yet though.
