Hearing his accent, I replied, having done a similar sleuthing observation, 'Adeussiatz' in Occitan, having deduced he was Catalan. His surprised look when leaving was priceless. I supposed I guessed right, even if he didn't.

Imagine my weekly train ride to Toulouse (Le Mirail) Uni, late-afternoon Sunday, when some middle-age guy sat right by my side. Leaving at Albi's station, he left telling me 'Auf Wiedersehen', which indicated, as usual, it was deduced I was German, look-wise, and from the English book I was reading.

I don't do music streaming, because streaming is not property. So this forces me to change my music playlist from my actual cds. 🤣

My work requires a car trip for each student I teach, so it's essential for me to have something when I drive. Even more so when I take my usual 7-hour drive to go down South.

My usb key mp3 playlist also needs updating, as I end up knowing it by heart.

The show I listen to on the French radio is similar to 'Eggheads', there are specific + obscure questions being mailed by listeners. If a host answers right, the listener in question doesn't win 300€. Someone in the studio can also attempt to answer for the prize. It's called 'Les Grosses Têtes'.
