It’s going to be a long few weeks. Next few days especially. I’m having a hard time.

I will say it again: I am livid.

This is not the first negative visit with them but my dog getting poisoned is a bridge too far.

Told my husband I am never going back. Ever.

Rush to emergency vet, start vit K treatment for what FIL said the product was. Hopefully he had it right.

Came back to their house to them acting like nothing happened.
Left this morning.

Dog has no symptoms so hopefully we started treatment early enough and hopefully it works. I’m terrified.

I go up to change, come back to FIL handing me a paper with the name of the poison, saying there was only a little bit 😳 (what’s a little bit of poison ?!)

MIL pretty quiet except to tell me I should have closed the basement door (what? How is this on me??)

Fucking livid.

Rushed back to the house and ask MIL who scoffed and said there is no rat poison.
Tells me to calm down 🤬

I said I’m finding an emergency vet.

She says: if he ate rat poison he would already be dead and he looks fine. (WTF?)

I think it was. That was for some electronics. Seem to get the worst for electronics and also when we tried to sell our car.

Otherwise I sold some books and vintage Pyrex and people just show up on time with cash 🤷‍♀️

We have to replace this item. It’s just annoying.

So I told them that I thought an item may have gotten over the fence and asked them if they could take a look.

They said they looked everywhere and didn’t find anything.

The item I saw on the porch has disappeared.

I have to take their word for it.

We are close, saw the very bright white light followed by a boom.

Checked lightningmaps and saw 2 strikes at the same time. Would it record meteors?
