i hate being on recruitment panels and interviewing people, mostly because i hate telling someone they aren't successful.

and i've had all kinds, made up CVs, etc. mans trying to get a job or an degree-paper in this fucked up world, leave 'em be.

remembering when i wrote a roundup every week including papers... i do this for myself now privately. @fitzsimple.bsky.social gave me this top tip from her phd, writing weeknotes is the best way to remember what you thought 3 years later.

i remember my old design tutors telling us we would never be as good as them because we didn't have to cut and paste typography. leaving aside the absolute wildness of telling your students such a thing...

Netlify offers previews, I just have to give them access.
He's a very digitally savvy person – has used custom code bits in squarespace etc – so i think github will be fine.
