I may just be thinking of the people they get mixed in with later on. I don't exactly hate the layout of the escape tunnel or the room they find themselves in, but I think the slide from the book was iconic. TLDR: They shortened and simplified the story. I hope integrity is higher in the sequels.

and a way better construction than the little pig stick house the movie has. The house in the book was fortified to protect against the Grievers, and they figured out there about how they only took one Glader a night. I also feel like the group they escape with in the movie is a little small, but

instantly by killing one, where the book has them finding the secret space in nothing the Grievers seemingly warp through, and sifting through the maps trying to find anything useful. The main big house was also disappointing, because, and maybe I remember wrong, it totally had at least 2 floors,

SPOILERS AHEAD!!! In the book, Thomas spends about two weeks in the Glade before they escape. The movie felt like around 6 days. I despise the design of the movie Grievers, as the book describes them as clumsy, bulbous massive hunks of flesh with random metallic instruments and weapons poking out
they massacre the story. I may not remember everything perfectly, but I have never seen a movie adaptation less faithful to the original than this movie. They couldn't have possibly fit it all into movie length, so it makes sense, but I pray that anyone interested in the movies will read the books.

Finally listened after having Saint Motel be one of the first artists I listened to and my brother recommending this album. The immediate instrumental hook on "Fine Wine" is fantastic, and the vibe of the rest of the album is great as well. I love "Everyone's A Guru" and "Hold My Place".

I was thinking Good as Gold would be better cause the defense boost from Marvel Scale leaves special defense a vulnerability... but I was thinking about Milotic, and Dragonair would benefit from the defense a whole lot more cause of the main elemental resistances.

The songs on this album are all wildly distinct, and it's a rare situation I'm glad none are super long. I think the length of the songs and album (EP) make it a nice, short experience and lend the songs to stand on their own. I really like "Four Amigos", mainly the opening and "Classic Wrock".
