Now that 2025 is coming to a close, I can say that I played a good variety of games this year. While not every game I played was a hit, most of the stuff I played in 2025 was a fun time. Lots of new experiences on new systems. Probably going to do this posting about played games thing again in 2026.
I'm going to start posting a list of games I've beaten in 2025 here on Bluesky. I'll be updating this thread throughout the remainder of the year with new entries I want to share my opinions on. Will be fun to revisit this thread throughout the year and see how many games I've played in 2025.

We're really stretching the definition of what a cave is here in Pikmin 2. Pretty sure caves are underground surrounded by dirt. Not outside gardens filled with flowers and deadly birds!

Sometimes Pikmin walk into water. Sometimes not all of those said Pikmin leave the water safely. We need to invest in floaties for all of my Pikmin that can't swim.

Man. Just when I finished recording my thoughts on the Steam Deck LCD model and recommended people to buy it, Steam now has discontinued the LCD model in favor of the OLED model. Guess I'll have to re-record the outro of my upcoming Steam Deck video to reflect this news.

I hate Denuvo DRM in PC games. Wanting to get some steam remote play footage for my upcoming Steam Deck video. So I wanted to use Sonic Superstars for this job as I know this game supports remote play. But now I can't play my purchased copy of the game just because.

Custom items is such a fun game mode in kart racing games, but all monster trucks in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds has got to be my favorite custom game mode yet. Seeing 11 monster trucks fly above your head is a beautiful sight.

I'm so tired of FOMO invading every game nowadays. This latest Emerald Rush event in Donkey Kong Bananza really made me feel this fatigue the most as I just wasn't having fun with the event by the end. I don't understand why we need a timed event in a single player video game.
