Long time Sound Recordist. Very fortunate to spend my working days recording the sounds of people watching TV…. Who knew that’d be a job?
Wait till you see who is on the board….:

Blaming the producers for the content is no defence either.

My point from the outset is to question everything, or this place ends up like twitter did. We all make mistakes.

Neeson, quite obviously, is due a shit dragging.

The article has been updated and I applaud that it now states “Teal Cannaday, a publicist for Neeson, declined to comment by the time of publication. UNICEF did not respond to our inquiry.”
But also the context of his contribution which frankly does little to excuse Neeson’s contribution.

I don’t seen any confirmations. Very happy to see evidence of such and really was the whole point of my first posting…. As I’ve said previously if Liam Neeson has attached his name to this kind of dangerous bullshit he should be called out for it.

You’ve got a Hollywood actor to narrate your doc but you don’t use that in the promotion???
December 11, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Find me something with his voice attached to it.

Logo was formerly used for a recording Studio in LA. Nothing to say it can’t be reused.
I’m fully prepared to believe Liam Neeson is capable of doing shitty things. He does have form.
I just haven’t heard any evidence that he has narrated this doc

Digging? The surface had barely been scraped.

If Liam Neeson had VO’d the doc, his name and reputation should be dragged through the shit. However a modicum of basic journalism should be carried out before doing so.

Yeah and really I’m not sure anyone should give that “documentary” any credibility but journalists Walter Bagman and bsky.app/profile/leba... who reposted the article - should perhaps take a little time to verify their information to save damaging their own reputations.

It’s odd that we have to take what Walker Bagman has written, despite this information being out for over a month with very little to verify anything of what he’s said.

Generously this could be said to be lazy journalism. More cynically minded might call it something else.

Curious that they didn’t use his VO in the trailer….?

You’d have thought they’d have had such a big name front and centre.

Yes, did you? His publicist gave “no comment”

In the UK, you could also be sued for perpetuating a falsehood if that is indeed the case.

I don’t the truth, simply asking for some verification.

But by all means feel free to make your own assumptions.
