Rubinstein recorded Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto three times: 1956 with Krips, 1963 with Leinsdorf, and 1975 with Barenboim. The Barenboim version is the most famous, but honestly, I prefer the first two.

The Magic Flute was the first opera I ever listened to from start to finish. Abbado's version felt a little subdued, but I still loved it.

My favorite Mahler Symphony No.6 is the Heinz Rögner. But the track listing reverses the 2nd and 3rd movements—every online version seems to follow this incorrect order. I haven’t found the original booklet, so it’s unclear what Rögner intended. Personally, I prefer the Andante as the 2nd movement.
