Another rally at Alverston Ave in Port Chalmers this Sunday at 12.30pm, aimed at stopping the impending sale of this public housing land. All supporters welcome. If you can, bring some choicely worded placards.

Palestine rally in Ōtepoti Dunedin yesterday. It was one of those stunning, sunny, crisp Autumn days. For the first bit we marched in silence, then we marched chanting, calling for Palestine to be free. It was a lovely bunch of people, and I found the whole experience of being there so moving.

Reb Fountain in Ōtepoti Dunedin went absolutely off last night, mesmerising, stunning, hard-hitting.

Just wanting to give a big ups to Ōtautahi Chch. So many great places to walk and cycle! Attached is a pic from the Activists' walk, and of just a couple of the many, many beautiful street art. Have loved my visit here, and it was fab fun meeting some of the ōtautahi Bluesky folk at Poms last night.

Had a lovely time yesterday with my parents Judy and Dave at the musical Come From Away. It was stupendously good, moving, funny, and uplifting, about how a small community in Gander, Newfoundland cared for people on flights grounded and stranded by the 911 attacks. It's playing in Ōtautahi Chch.

Standing in solidarity with and as a member of our vibrant Ōtepoti Dunedin takatāpui/queer community. My outfit just isn't quite as fabulous!

Making syrup from the many hundreds of rosehips that my best friend and beautiful poet Rhian Gallagher gathered while she was camping in McKenzie country. I probably need a blender but cutting them up is quite restful. For anyone who hasn't tried rosehip syrup, it is sweet scented bliss.

Thanks to my hoa for sharing this fine image with me. It shows how many people submitted in opposition to the Treaty Principles Bill (aka David Seymour's and Act's shameless attempt to re-write and distort our history). Together, Tāngata Whenua and Tāngata Tiriti, we kicked ass. Toitū te Tiriti.

Just saw this plastered to a wall on my way home. Thought others might find it uplifting too.

Enjoyed a night of Drag fabulousness at Yours, Dunedin on Sat night. If you haven't yet been to or heard of Yours, visit or check it out online, abd support if you can. They are a worker owned cafe/venue in Ōtepoti/Dunedin for radical action, music and cooperation. They are ground breaking.
