We recently celebrated our newest and fastest solver, Beowulf, together in the office! Many years and hard work have gone into Beowulf and it’s just the beginning. The Beowulf Beta feature is free for customers with an HPS solver on maintenance. Interested in a demo? Let us know!

v19 brings enhanced performance for all solvers. The Level 2 Basic through Pro Desktop solvers all have at least a doubling in the number of threads that can be utilized! Even better, High Performance Solver licenses are upgraded with Beowulf capability, free of charge.

Another feature of v19 is the switch to Reprise License Manager, with an easy to use web interface and from our testing, quicker setup and support.

*v18 and v19 use different license managers and therefore require different license files; on-maintenance customers can receive both throughout 2025.

Sonnet v19 features an improved material library with direct manufacturer support for material parameters, including anisotropy.

You may or may not remember "Poem in your Pocket" Day in school, a popular day celebrated in April where students are encouraged to carry around a poem for the day and share it with others. It prompted us to look for some poems ourselves, and we found quite a few good ones! Here's one that stood out

Today we took a trip down memory lane and installed version 4 of Sonnet, contained on 4 floppy disks! One installation requirement that stood out while looking through the manuals was a colored monitor for some of the features. We'll be sharing more things #foundinthearchives later this month😀
