Spoilers!

The Vader fight is a perfect example.

1. Completely unnecessary to have him
2. You know you can't beat him, so why not have a cutscene?
3. If you want the "feel" of a fight you're destined to lose, why not end *when you lose*?
4. if you HAVE to beat him, why make the fight so hard?

It's a lot easier to beg for donations when you're the losing party and "democracy as we know it is on the line!" and, conveniently, you just don't quite have the power to actually do anything.

tbf 11 year old me would also agree this is adult content and make sure nobody was around to see me play it or the DoA beach game

2 is definitely the "Uh oh this assignment is due in an hour" of the franchise. Good ideas/sections of the game, just not entirely coherent or finished.

I've beaten it a few times and I'm still pretty sure there's a solid 1/3 of the game I've missed. Been thinking a lot about running it and 3 again and, heck, maybe even finishing 2 some day

Hell, PIC s3 is the pinnacle of Trek to the exact same people crying about Academy. They don't want anything fresh--just rehash the same shit with the same characters telling the same stories in the same ships they already know. And make it sexy.

Off except for LD, which was perfect? Yeah, I'll say perfect.

The "fans" that constantly yell about stuff online just want Legacy because our entire culture has become about on-demand nostalgia.

I'm not excited about Academy because I think Kurtzman-era Trek is just off, but I'm glad new shows & new characters will continue to keep the franchise going

I really loved how the force stuff felt in TFA & TLJ. Kylo was overpowered in some aspects, but the dark side should be a little OP imo. That's the allure. Luke force projecting himself was a tremendous feat that burned up the remainder of his life. Other than that, the force stayed pretty grounded

Superman gets his butt kicked by... Superman. That's the only person he loses to. The only other time he struggles is when he's kryptonite poisoned & sun deprived while also trying to protect a baby, & even then he's able to pull that whole gang out of a black hole.

He's appropriately powered 🤷

The vast majority of cloning stories in comics, television, and movies tend to clone the character as-is, not grow them from a baby. And if there is a factor of genetic acceleration, it tends to be explained and/or happen off screen

I've never seen someone hate on live action Grinch unless it's specifically hating on Jim Carrey
