We're 1.5 miles west of this cluster (4.0, 3.1 & 3.4) and the first one knocked a picture off the wall, rattled the house, and rolled my office chair a couple of inches.

The kitty is hiding in the closet.

It definitely would have wiggled the jello. 😀

It was downgraded to a 4.0 followed by a 3.1 eight minutes later and then a 3.4 about thirty minutes later. Our place is about 1.5 miles west and we were rocking and rolling. The third one felt almost as strong as the 4.0.

I was there in 2003...a sobering experience.

🤣 Dang it! spit my coffee all over the keyboard when I read that. The sad thing is that I can relate.

How about a multi-story bookcase with a spiral staircase and balconies for each level?

A Nikon ZF won't do. You really need the new Hasselblad. 😁

As long as you have a seat at the table, the type of chair is trivial.

I've taken a bunch of photos of that gnarly old tree. It's tough to get a decent perspective on it without a lot of clutter from the road, the parked cars, etc.

Thanks for doing that. Happy Thanksgiving!

If you can, turn the circuit breaker for the oven off for 15-30 minutes. The electronics in many ovens require a reboot from time to time.

West of Bishop - that image was taken near North Lake.

I had a '73 Super Beetle. It was a great little car. I put 152,000 miles on it and the only failure was the distributor. I was rather OCD about regular oil changes and keeping the valves adjusted and it served me well.

Magical light for the win!

We were there at peak color and I was fortunate that the sunlight highlighted the trees.
