Kabbu tries his best to keep things peaceful between his teammates but it can get close at times.

In the first panel, Vi and Leif are seen arguing. Leif is crossing his arms over his chest with an annoyed expression. A text box is near him to indicate that he’s trying to say something, though the speech is conveyed through squiggly lines. Leif’s speech bubble is cut off by a large, spiky speech bubble coming from Vi. The lines in hers are much more aggressive and end with an exclamation mark to indicate that she’s being loud.

Vi in the first panel looks very angry. Her antenna are folded down and zigzag towards the tips. Her brow is deeply furrowed and her mouth is open in a wide, angry yell all while she points a claw at Leif.

The background is a dark desaturated colour with rough patterns and a gradient that is lighter toward the bottom.

In the second panel, Kabbu has stepped between the two in order to break the fight up. He’s concerned and sweating a bit nervously, but is forcing a smile that’s only seen from the way his visible eye is crinkled. Vi has her back turned toward Kabbu, still looking a bit angry, while Leif stands behind Kabbu with a blank, closed eyed expression.

Kabbu is trying to settle things down, saying, “Team, please! Whatever the issue is we can resolve it without fighting.”

Vi lets out a, “Hmph,” in response, and Leif’s silence is marked with an ellipsis. The background has turned lighter and has a greenish hue to it.

Pan, wanting to show Apollyon a part of the Golden Settlement’s culture, takes them to a Whack-a-Worm competition to have them play the game.

Apollyon…does not like the game at all.

Panel one is a full panel that takes up the top part of the image. Pan, alongside the Whack a worm attendant Claire, are standing at a fence. Claire is looking down at a page she’s holding in her paws as she explains the rules of Whack a Worm.

“All you need to do is hit the worms before they get away,” she starts.

“I’ll be tracking how many you get and see where you place.”

Pan meanwhile is leaning on the fence, one paw up in the air as he cheerfully calls out. “You’ll do great!”

The second and third panels are split down the middle. In the second one Pan is further in the background drawn in a style closer to the sprites in the game. In the foreground is Apollyon, who is out of focus and looking over at Pan.

“Try to have fun!” Pan yells out to them.

The third panel has the focus shift from Pan to Apollyon. They look very reluctant as they lift up their paw, showing that they’re currently wielding their censer.

Panels four and five are split diagonally. Panel four shows Apollyon looking down at something. It has a grim, concerned expression on its face and is trembling. Their paw is still up to show the chain of their censer. The background is dark, and uneven lines run down it to further show Apollyon’s distress.

Panels five shows that Apollyon is looking down at an earthworm that has emerged from the ground. It has no visible mouth and seems to be confused as it stares back up at Apollyon blankly.
