Not really commenting on the content of the article here more the fact that any conversation anyone ever has about autism is gonna hit a wall because we're really talking about thousands of different conditions and presentations with vastly different support needs and comorbid diseases

Most incredibly obvious fact in the world. Autism as a diagnosis is a description of symptoms which is why it captures such a spectrum. If you have an intellectual disability you pretty much definitionally have to get an autism diagnosis which is vastly different from other presentations

Friend got a new roommate who has come in and refused to clean up, had a meltdown at every polite request to clean up/be quiet late at night/be normal, started faking that messes were made by other people, refused to show to the house meeting, and has now emailed their landlord claiming abuse

Charli had such a weird mix of dumb club songs with shit lyrics (nails the vibe though) and some really competent, but not excellent or incredible, lyrics especially in her back catalogue. But she’s not ever claimed to be a poet so she can do what she wants imo

This week I saw a patient with a genetic mutation so rare they're the only know case, another pt whose family has the only cases of their gene mutation in Australia, Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome, and more!!! That’s so much and I'm learning lots
