I realized yesterday that this is actually my favorite time of the year. We are close enough to actual spring to allow ourselves to dream and plan for warm weather. It’s like I get more excited about planting the seed than taking care of them late into the summer. Pre-Spring is my favorite season 🌱

Large sunflower block print success! Made this for my bumblebee tea towels and spent about a solid undisturbed hour carving the rubber. It’s nice to get into a flow / meditative state with art. Carving, sewing and yoga is as close as I get. #blockprinting #pollinators #handmade #art

Hold your Joann’s craft stores close! Anchorage is losing their location and to say that I’m absolutely gutted is an understatement. As someone who sews as much as I can, having Joann’s as a go to fabric store was a major resource that I utilized often. Goodbye never ending ultra plush fleece 💔

Here is my first prototype of a bread bag! I sewed the bag, and carved the block print out of rubber to stamp the bag. This bag is made out of cotton plain weave canvas, but I know I should be using LINEN!
