✅A temporary repair has been completed with the breach and it is holding.

Hi Luna, it looks like the were quick to plug the washed out levee/walking trail area. The news at 1 o’clock showed they had filled part of the area that gave way to slow/stop the water. More work will be required, but encouraging news. Hoping no other areas get undermined by water.

They enjoy new toys and treats too! I have had dogs that sniff the stockings for weeks ahead of the holiday and some just like laying near tree and looking at lights and ornaments.

There is at least one, if not more nearby. Many of the trees at that location have sapsucker holes. There is a small treed park across the street. Will see if I can find my password to ebird. 😊

I was so excited. Heard it and tried to nail down what bird had that weird call. Right off the sidewalk in a partially burned tree, there it was!

Tried to convince spouse that we could foster him. No luck.
