I don't know any trans people but I've read some comments from JKR which were quite nasty & potentially hurtful. According to national statistics. trans people represent around 0.5 of the population. Hatred has been encouraged by the media. I say live and let live, frankly.

That article reflects much of my experience. The low level stuff that is slowly escalating and has pretty much become the norm.

So much the norm it barely registers now and only takes it being witnessed by a friend or ally and the shock they experience, to sort of highlight it.
