I can find no words just officially express my outrage and deep sadness at this. The White House is not a private residence. It is sacred ground—a piece of history. One that belongs to all of us.

As my countdown to #York continues, today I am celebrating my favorite city “bar”. Not a place for getting drinks. But a name for the city gates. York has four major bars left in their city walls. This one’s my favorite because— besides being a stunner —it’s near my favorite coffee shop.

My countdown to York has begun. This Thursday I fly to the UK to begin the next chapter of my author life. I feel so fortunate to have been granted a talent visa in literature. Feels like a fairytale.
