I went to Wheal Coates in the sunshine, these tin mines were built in the 1800s and you can explore the ruins, it’s so peaceful here now I can’t really imagine it being noisy and busy with the mines in action

Important bat news! They found a FEMALE greater mouse eared bat in an old railway tunnel in Sussex- this is cool because they’d only found 2 male ones in the last few years, they are so rare in the UK… I’m so hopeful for a greater mouse eared bat romance and BAT BABIES
