WuWa DOES have darker themes. It's apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic fantasy, and the most recent arc has elements of Shakespeareian tragedy. It has more death and existentialism than Genshin does. Reminds me of NieR, but not QUITE that dark.

If that's your thing, however: what are you waiting for?!

For those who are grieving Genshin and don't know where to go, I raise to you: Wuthering Waves!

Afaik, they don't have a public stance on GenAI in VO. *BUT*, their official Discord bans GenAI, and the game dialogue makes a few occasional jabs at GenAI "art."

And still a beautiful open-world gacha!
