I’m 44,000 words into the first draft of a novel that’s planned to be around 80,000. We‘ve passed the midpoint and it’s all kicking off. This is my third novel and I’m really hoping this will be the one. I’m doing a course with @cbcreative.bsky.social and it’s pushing me in a good way.

Good evening, had a lovely time with the kids at a local all-age music group today but unfortunately I don’t think I can go back because I zoned out and missed singing my own name during the hello song and everyone was staring at me waiting to say my name and I was confused.
