I have been told all my life that I would be so pretty and find myself a man if

If I smiled more
If I lost weight
If I wore more color
If I at least pretended I liked sports
Exct.

I'm here to tell you
There are no ifs.
You are beautiful.
Okay, this has got to be some of the spam I get because I am over a certain age; but did I hear that?

Did Trump suggest we replace him with Jesus for Easter? Tell me this is an exaggeration or someone will provide me with a link please.

I wondered what happened to the banned books pulled from school so I did some digging. I found this. It's written with such dedication to the preservation of the freedom of speech and the beauty of what it is that it is in and of itself a work of art. www.ala.org/bbooks/banne...

It boggles my mind how anyone could ignore any of this. I mean I know the country has got to be suffering a mental health crisis of epidemic proportions rite now from the sheer amount of stress, but simply ignoring this... Yeah no. Not possible for me.

I haven't been on this app much and I'm honestly considering deleting it and a few other accounts. Not that I don't enjoy the app and it's content when I do use it. Time will tell I guess.

I haven't been on here in a few weeks. I've been binge watching Tiktok videos before it's gone and enjoying my family.

So.. #projectbookmark hit a brick wall. It turns out the library only wants to give out child appropriate bookmarks. Honestly.. I'm not mad, disappointed, or upset at all. I'm damned happy. Also: it turns out that I don't feel like being sneaky or disrespectful.

On this episode, host Adrian Ma and his colleagues from NPR's The Indicator podcast look at that immigration crackdown during the 'Chinese Exclusion Era,' and the economic impact it had on the West.
The 'Chinese Exclusion Era' shows how Trump's mass deportation plan could unfold : Consider This from NPR
Donald Trump promises to deport millions of unauthorized immigrants once he returns to the White House. If he follows through, the scale of it would be unlike anything we've seen in our lifetimes. Many supporters of Trump's mass deportation agenda say expelling unauthorized immigrants will help the US economy. But a look back at America's first major immigration crackdown suggests otherwise. On this episode, host Adrian Ma and his colleagues from NPR's The Indicator podcast look at that immigration crackdown during the 'Chinese Exclusion Era,' and the economic impact it had on the West. For a deeper dive into the economic history of the Chinese Exclusion Era, check out the latest installments of Planet Money's newsletter. In Part One, NPR's Greg Rosalsky covers the economic circumstances that led to a populist anti-Chinese movement. In Part Two, he explains the ways (both legal and extralegal) that movement succeeded in driving Chinese immigrants away from the U.S. and the economic fallout that ensued. For sponsor-free episodes of Consider This, sign up for Consider This+ via Apple Podcasts or at plus.npr.org.Email us at [email protected].

I didn't know that this was a Pro Dem social media platform, but you know what: I'm pro love, respect, and cohabitation of this planet.

You know what I'm not?

Pro hate. So far this seems to be where I belong.

Just a weird gothy kind of hippy at heart who found their way here.
