Tbh I remember seeing Black Hawk Down and just thinking that it was a very underwhelming Scott film. Not very good at all if I’m being honest. Forgot almost everything about it before that weekend.

I think where a lot of people go wrong trying to get into death metal is they try and start with Cannibal Corpse which...should not be your first death metal experience. Not that they aren't great but if you go from Metallica to them you're gonna get a shock on all fronts. And not a pleasant one.

I don’t think H.I.M. sucked or anything but I’m always surprised when I listen to one of their records and there’re 2 or 3 completely outstanding tracks and the rest is like obviously phoned-in filler

Sometimes you use the 'Get Album Artwork' feature on iTunes and it's like you know goddamn well that's not the right album cover lol
