Loved that game, one of those games you wished you could forget and replay as if it was your first time playing it.

This is my GOTY for 2024 and one of the few games I actually played this much.

You are reading it wrong. I love emulation but your comparison just sucks.

Also, both mentioning key sellers and emulation is funny to me. As they are both a grey area? I love emulation of old consoles but having all the original cartridges to be able to play those games..., that takes up a lot of space. Or are we using piracy as a reason for a platform to be better?

Oh, but I agree PC is a great gaming experience, but justifying it with key sellers is spotty at best. I wouldn’t want to miss my PC but saying it is a better experience than consoles is just not true.

Choosing which settings to run on might be fun for some people. But I just want to play the game.

But, I haven’t seen a PC with an optical drive in years. Why is the market being regulated by Steam/terrible launchers different?

I agree with you about being pushed to digital sucks and that’s why I added a drive to PS5 Pro, but PC isn’t that great either.

Same goes for some really difficult stealth horror mission in some games (looking at you Cyberpunk), why isn’t there a button that just skips that section and recaps what happened. I am old, I want to finish that game in peace!
