Hold your fur babies close. We lost our old lady tonight. She peacefully passed away as she laid in one of her favorite spots at home. We didn’t expect her to leave tonight though we knew her time was short. There’s never enough time. As they say, grief is the price of love.

We lovingly joke that our old home is a money pit. One new project I’m excited about is replacing our front door. After searching for ages, I finally found a vintage door from the 1800s that has the unusual dimensions we need. It will be stripped, refinished, and installed soon. Eek!
