My friend gave me this amaryllis. They thought it was Red Lion. It is not but we have certainly enjoyed it's beautiful colour.

This week I have been clearing out perserving jars. When I saw these for sale today 😱 I thought my gosh I have a fortune. But these said decorative use only. Anyone know why they would be so much more expensive?
