Things are bad when you can't bring yourself to view County highlights but have chosen to watch the Dragons instead. Not a slur on the Dragons. Love to see them winning. But to not even be able to face the County highlights is a damning indictment. I even avoided looking for the result yesterday.

There are teams in league 2 who are as bad as us such as Rovers and Harrogate. But I think we will struggle to close the small gap that exists between us. It's pathetic really.

Was it about 6 or so years ago that Newport County felt like the coolest club in Wales. It just felt special. Today, I'd put us somewhere behind Merthyr. We were number 1 for a while. Now we are 5th maybe. It's a shocking time to be a county fan and I think it will get worse.

A few thoughts. I apologise to CBR. Looked to be little in that challenge to warrant a red other than the Crewe player seemingly taking a head shot from an imaginary sniper. CBR was just doing what I want to see. Showing a little fight and challenging. So I apologise for being angry last night.

I used to post this every week towards the end of our last managers reign. David Hughes finished with a win percentage of 18.18%. Christian Fuchs current career managerial win rate is 0%. I don't blame either manager. I blame the strategic tactician Huw Jenkins to be fair.

I think I can safely say already that the change of manager has not worked, nor would any other change of manager. These players are the worst group we have ever put together. They look like they could struggle against a Sunday league team. No experience, strength or skill. I'm done 👎

On the evidence of this in a year's time we will be fighting relegation in the National League. Boreham Wood look as if they are leagues above us. Ripping us apart at will. Newport with zero fight and zero energy. Braybrooke is the only player who looks anything decent in our team.
